About Us
Pt. Kewayan Nusantara was formed in 1999 to provide drilling related services to the oil & gas industry in Indonesia.
As a part of the Abumas Group of companies, it complemented the other services in the group’s portfolio. In 2017, Pt. Kewayan Nusantara split from the group and began to offer a full range of products and services to the Indonesian oil & gas industry.
Today it is a leader in the industry in offering international oil & gas service providers representation of their products and services in Indonesia. It maintains the required licenses necessary to conduct business with all sectors of the industry. Pt. Kewayan Nusantara currently represents a number international companies, who have granted it exclusive rights to promote and sell their products or services.
Management Team
Jason Lawrence
Pt. Kewayan Nusantara is led by Jason Lawrence who has over twenty five years of experience working and living in Indonesia. Joining the Abumas Group in 2005, Jason was integral in transforming the group of companies into an industry force. After the split from Abumas Group in 2017, Jason decided to use his knowledge of the local industry to transform Pt. Kewayan Nusantara into an industry leader. Jason was born and raised in Southeast Asia, graduated from Jakarta International School and has a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and Masters in Business Administration both from Texas A&M University. He began his career at Deloitte & Touche in Houston, Texas before deciding to return to Indonesia with the Abumas Group to further his career. He is focused on providing the highest quality representation for international oil & gas service providers in Indonesia.
Riri Lestari
Having worked previously with the Abumas Group, Riri Lestari has been instrumental in forming the team behind Pt. Kewayan Nusantara. Riri brings over twenty years of local oil & gas industry experience to the company. Riri is in charge of all administration, contracts, and human resources. Riri began her career with California Energy Ltd. in 1991 before joining the Abumas Group in 2004.
Bambang Widjaya
Bambang Widjaya joined Pt. Kewayan Nusantara in late 2017 and oversees all financial aspects for the company. With over 20 years of oil & gas accounting experience Bambang starting his career in Balikpapan with a small local service provider, Bambang later moved to Jakarta in 2009 into a management role with a local operator. He brings valuable experience from both sides of the industry to Pt. Kewayan Nusantara.
Budi Soelisto
Budi Soelisto joined Pt. Kewayan Nusantara in early 2018 and manages all logistics and customs related issues for the company. Budi has over 30 years of experience dealing in customs clearance and logistics within Indonesia and South East Asia. He began his career with a local freight forwarder before moving to an oil & gas service provider. He brings vital experience in efficiently moving products in and out of the country.
